Hi there, I hope I can ask this question here 😄 I have come across this jd and I was wondering if there is anyone here who knows more about it https://jobs.ericsson.com/main/jobs/311864
I'd recommend directing follow-up to #jobs-discuss if it goes beyond someone identifying themselves as "in the know" for that job.
@U0QNQ3P3L That job spec says "Competence in one or more programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Scheme, Clojure, C++, Scala"
(I agree that it's a very vague/broad job spec)
@U04V70XH6 I saw that, and it's pretty meaningless. There are a lot of job descriptions these days that just list a bunch of languages. They'd be far more useful if they mentioned languages actually used.
I hated these when I was actively job hunting, as they polluted my search for "Clojure" roles 🙂
Happy to continue this discussion -- but in #jobs-discuss
Got it yes forgot about that channel
We (Cognician) are hiring an Infrastructure Engineer, Cape Town South Africa. Great opportunity for someone with these skills to pick up Clojure and Datomic :-) https://twitter.com/RobStuttaford/status/1214827000852045825
Just saw this, it's remote-friendly but UK-based only: https://apply.workable.com/drest/j/76E9FD54E5/
This looks like a great opportunity. I really need to up my Clojure game... I'm not qualified to apply for this yet, but I feel like I'm missing out on some good opportunities.
where did you spot this job ad @U0KLE4WHZ?
