Montoux is looking for a Software Engineer in New York City. We build actuarial software using Clojure and ClojureScript, including a declarative DSL for automating the execution and parallelization of actuarial models. The listing includes more detail, including how to apply: https://montoux.com/jd-software-engineer-ny. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions
I worked for an actuarial company in England for a while in the early 90's and we were targeting Inmos transputers (with a DSL to Parallel C compiler) as well as having a Prolog team. Actuarial stuff is quite fascinating if you have a bent for numbers and math! Good luck! (and further discussion should go to #jobs-discuss I guess, sorry, just enthusing about actuarial problems!).
