LendUp’s a San Francisco startup that’s trying to provide an alternative to payday lenders for people who wouldn’t otherwise have access to credit. It’s historically a Java shop, but some new mission-critical microservices are being built in Clojure, and people seem enthusiastic about finding more places to use it.
