hi everyone. i want to move to amsterdam and start to write clojure not only for my pet projects. before that i want to know how a clojure job market in amsterdam looks like today? i saw some offers on the internet but didn't see any information about salaries. about myself: 5+ years experience, mostly with php/js you can find some examples of my clojure code on github pm or email me at <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]>

@bernik: i can answer some of these questions, send me a pm if you like to discuss!

as an employer, I can say that hiring for clojure is not too bad, as long as you pay market rates. furthermore, it functions great as a pre-filter, pretty much all candidates have a clue

however, the clojure community seems to lean very heavily towards remote work, and more than half of the applicants asks whether we do remote, even when we explicitly day we don't
