@nonrecursive, there’s a #C053PTJE6 channel which I think might be more appropriate.
@akiva my bad! I’m not actually looking for a code review, more like: does this look useful to people looking for a job? does this look useful to those hiring? maybe #C0KL616MN would be more appropriate? either way, I won’t mention it in this fine channel again
No, no, I misunderstood your intent. My bad. I don’t want there to be a need for a #C0KL616MN, really.
@nonrecursive: I’m happy that you've posted it! And idea in general is great 👍
@nonrecursive: Great idea. I've bookmarked it for future reference.
@akiva sorry for not explaining better!
thanks for the positive feedback yall, good to know I’m on the right track. I’m hoping to officially launch it next week
@nonrecursive: I’m learning clojure too
and I’d be interested to contribute to
is this an OSS project?
I’m a full stack developer. Mainly in ruby/javascript
@mariogintili: awesome I hope you’re enjoying it! it’s not an OSS project (I’m not a great OSS project steward) though eventually I do want to release it. It’s built using liberator, reagent, and re-frame, though, and those are all open source
oh I thought it was a pet project used as a learning sandbox
cool I came to clj from ruby/javascript too
@nonrecursive: been reading your clojure for the brave and true
and I’m enjoying it! btw, like the artwork and the color scheme for your apps. do you do the artwork and design for your apps?
awesome and thanks! I do all the design, I don’t do the drawings though
Wait just one cotton-pickin’ minute here. You wrote Clojure for the Brave and True? Wow, good work. I’ve been using Clojure for years now and still I return to it for edification sometimes.
heh yeah, that was me. I’m glad you find it useful!
definitely among the best I've read @nonrecursive
they’re a great outfit
@nonrecursive: hey! I have brave and true sticker on my laptop (from conj 14, I think). Definitely a fan!
sweet! yeah there were only 100 of those, and they’re all taken now
