Why nothing cool is going on in the US? Instability, unpredictability; fear, uncertainty, and doubt. You think you're gonna bootstrap a clojure-based startup, next thing out of blue - tariff on every java import you add.

Maybe because the us market was too saturated when clojure took off. Why is the biggest clojure shop in Brazil? I feel like clojure purposefully, and correctly, did a lot of outreach into less saturated markets.
