I am mainly using LinkedIn in my job search, but last week I was locked out without warning or explanation. When I try to sign in, I get a screen that says "Your account has been temporarily restricted as a precaution". I've followed the instructions on that page and uploaded an official ID. I also notified https://twitter.com/LinkedInHelp but nobody is getting back. Has anyone experienced anything like that?
I haven't been locked out before, but I wonder if this has anything to do with it: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/16/technology/linkedin-layoffs.html
Oh no. Will all our linkedin accounts will require ID from now on?.... first github requires the phone number and now this 😢 I think this is not a precaution... this could be a feature toggle
