Not entirely job related, but worth a deep and sad sigh. I just implemented in Clojure in a day what took me over a week in TypeScript. Also ditched off-the-shelf Telegram API and OpenAI API clojure libs and wrote my own, cause I dunno either I'm grumpy and old or people have strange priorities and care about all the wrong things wrapping APIs. I think it makes for a great reason to feel sad noone's hiring Clojure devs any more. So. Sighing I go

Need to team up in a few, find a born salesman, and attack the market. Who is up?

Depends on what u mean by teaming up. Niche requires people starting companies and businesses. U need funding and time for that. My current mantra is: become a hiring manager - this pre assumes u’re running things. Same goes for all niche tech or anything really Note, however investors don’t care one bit about your tech. In fact they maybe severely averse to niche and for good reason Luckily it has never been easier to start a business. Unluckily it still required daring, time, dedication etc. it won’t help u pay the bills

Typically, I find for me - the second time I write something, it is much faster... because the problem and solution are fully loaded.

I fixed it for you: "noone's hiring Clojure devs any more" 🙂 But things will pick up again in a year or two. That gives us time to learn Flutter (via #C03A6GE8D32) and be ready when that takes off.
