Wrote a little response to “How to get a remote Clojure job?” after someone asked about it on Twitter. Maybe it’s interesting to someone here as well :) https://rep.ly/answer/5f92959f17801d0018370de4

Nice read! I would add a bullet point about learning how to get paid specially if you are applying to a remote job abroad . The bureaucracy of invoices, insurances, etc can push many people away from that.

@U050TNB9F I'm glad you put that "P.S." on the article -- it's an important that not enough people think to acknowledge. Definitely good points about communication -- something that is also often not highlighted in these discussions: for me, as a hiring manager, a candidate's ability to communicate their thought processes is extremely important.

Hey @U050TNB9F Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for a little bit but am pivoting into clojure from other languages, this does help put some things into perspective

OT: @U04V70XH6 you are the only other person I've seen use "--" as a delimeter in thoughts. It's my goto but I haven't seen it in other places, so I'm delighted to see it bunched up like I do here.

@U4TGNN19D Haha... you are the first person to notice I think! I use "--" out of habit because in my mind I want an emdash and most of the programs I work with do that conversion automatically. Slack doesn't.

Martin, have you shared this in #news-and-articles? Perhaps I just overlooked it...

@U0522TWDA I actually haven’t :thinking_face:😅
