following on from a discussion in the UK channel, I'm currently doing a series of workshops bringing people into CLJ(s) web development and I'm kind of curious what the tech being used professionally is. In this case as I need to not overwhelm people I'm going for library stacks like luminus, or frameworks like duct/edge

alexlynham13:02:59

I think for the frontend it's going to be a cljs SPA (probably re-frame)

alexlynham13:02:17

but in terms of the backend which do you work with professionally? (options coming...)

alexlynham13:02:08

1) Luminus 2) Duct 3) Compojure-api 4) Edge 5) Other (please comment and I will add it to the list here!) 6) Reitit 7) Liberator if you could reply to this post with an emoji that would be super helpful

What about Arachne? Is it dead?

practicalli-johnny11:02:33

Arachne isnt dead, but not a particularly active project either (funding ran out a year ago).

mattly14:02:49

Didn’t they have Kickstarter for that?

practicalli-johnny16:02:54

The kickstarter was the funding that ran out...

felbit17:02:14

FYI -> We discuss bringing the project further in #arachne

jimmy06:02:25

pedestal, since it includes the most advanced tech out there. Beside that I would recommend duct to anyone 😄

alexlynham13:02:38

interesting that luminus currently has... like, almost no votes that didn't last long!
