@samueldev, you may want to check out https://www.10xmanagement.com/ , which is a talent management company for developers, based on the Hollywood artist management agencies model. Their agents work to get you the best rates on development projects. It's an interesting concept and may be worth exploring!
No problem: Here are two articles on the company (which I have no affiliation with š ) : http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/11/24/programmers-price
Hm, I have never seen the guy that has a 10x output compared to the rest of the team over several months, building and maintaining a project / product. Sounds like hype to me and more like they filter out the really bad ones.
Iām personally way more interested in collective bargaining becoming widespread in our industry than boutique personal management agencies.
@donaldball As a non native semi english speaker, what exactly are you refering to with "collective bargaining"?
The role historically played by trade or labor unions, whereby laborers collectively negotiate for a common set of agreements on e.g. working conditions, compensation, etc.
