Hey everyone from Germany! 🇩🇪👋 I have been reading about Clojure for some time, and I have decided that it is finally time to play enough to be dangerous. • During the day: I'm an SRE, which mostly means my day job consists of dealing with Kubernetes, writing Go, and wondering whether I made the right life choices while looking at loads of YAML files. • The Clojure Hook: It's really frustrating when you spend your a big chunk of your career trying to deal with unnecessary complexity in infrastructure. • The ultimate goal: I want to experience that moment where the Clojure mindset finally clicks. I want it to change the way I solve problems, design systems and, to be honest, maybe even the way I live my life. (No pressure, Clojure.) Here are a few other things to bear in mind: • The AI Hype Train 🚂: I'm officially on board (mostly Claude Code), and I have a healthy scepticism around it related to SRE, but I'm also very positive about how it can be use in building stuff. • The Journey 🎯: I can't wait to learn, ask lots of questions and get to that moment where I suddenly understand something. I'm excited to be here and I'm looking forward to learning from you all! 🚀
