Hi there! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€˜m Stefan from the southern part of Germany. I work for the Educational Data Science department at the University of Regensburg as a researcher but since more than two years now mostly in the clothings of a full-stack developer (leaning heavily towards the backend). I built and supported to build some apps for the Bavarian Government to assess basic competencies (like reading and math skills) of elementary school children across Bavaria. Until now I worked mainly with Python, JavaScript (React mostly), Java and pure SQL. But I head a love affair with LISPs since I first encountered EMacs at around 2014/15. I dabbled a lot in my spare time with Scheme (mostly Racket) and Common Lisp. I came to Clojure just recently, because I wanted to start a new (real!) project with a LISP but didnโ€˜t want to loose the broader Java and React ecosystem we use. So I looked into Clojure and what can I say? I really liked it from the start. Still trying to get my head around some - to me - more exotic features like atoms and grasping the full toolchain I need to build and deploy a serious project used by a lot of children and teachers. But hey! I am really motivated! ๐Ÿค— If you are interested to connect, please leave a PM! ๐Ÿ‘Œ
