Hi everybody!
New Slack user from Europe here, but I've been using Clojure for few years on my personal projects (e.g. #adventofcode). I see here some familiar faces names from Clojure's Discord server, where I've been for quite some time.
I was told that Slack is the place where Clojure action happens, so here I am, trying to get familiar with Slack in general and this server in particular....
Hey. Please consider also checking out Zulip - it's smaller, but some of us are kinda trying to make it bigger. :) The chatting model there is different, much more thread-focused (or "topic"-focused, in the Zulip lingo), so might not be immediately familiar, but at the same time it's more focused. In fact, we're also trying to keep the most popular channels here thread-focused, with few to none unnecessary top-level messages.
Is there a link regarding how to join on Zulip? It seems one needs to register an account with a certain organization. Is there a Clojure organization or is it a federated system (like Mastodon/Matrix) where the server registration doesn't matter?
Yeah, all the links are here: https://clojure.org/community/resources Specifically, this one: https://clojurians.zulipchat.com/
