Hi, I'm Drew, I've dipped my toes a bit into clojure over the past 4 or so years but I'm more of an Emacs/Common Lisper. I joined because I'm interested in jank development, but I'd also like to use clojure more
Hi everyone! I'm Zishan. After over a 9 years of working with Python and other programming languages, about a year ago, I decided to dive into the Clojureverseβa world of parentheses, elegant abstractions, and functional joy. Along the way, I explored McCarthyβs seminal Lisp paper, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, and official docs for Clojure/ClojureScript, Reagent, Re-frame, Pedestal, HugSQL, and more. Rich Hickey's talks and the contributions of this community have been a constant source of inspiration. Not to forget, my current manager (who was also my manager around 3 years ago) has been a strong inspiration in my journey to learn Clojure. For the past six months, Iβve been working as a full-stack developer with Clojure/ClojureScript at a US based healthcare/pharmaceutical startup. Iβm excited to continue learning, exploring, and contributing to this expressive and powerful ecosystem. Looking forward to connecting with fellow Clojurians and sharing the journey!
