Clojurians Log v2

Hey all, I’m Alex. I’ve worked professionally with Ruby and JavaScript/React, and am currently working with mainly C# but some Typescript/React. I’ve been aware of Clojure for a bit but only recently starting really diving into it through the Biff tutorials and a couple playground projects to test some things. I love the REPL development (the only part of Ruby I miss lol) and data focused approach of Clojure. I’m also a huge fan of libraries like hiccup, rum and honeysql that let me stay in the same language and write html/sql without resorting to raw strings in code. I have a personal project that’s in early development with a C# backend and React front end. I really like the stack professionally, but for personal work where I’m figuring out data models and updates as I go even small changes felt slow to implement and try out. I’m looking forward to building out what I had with Biff/HTMX and playing with ClojureScript to see what works for me.
