Hello and welcome! Just in case - Emacs is not obligatory for working with Clojure. :) If you decide that it's not for you, there are some other choices.
Yeah, I know, but it's fun to take a look as a previous vim user. If I feel overloaded will move to vscode or other.
You have a lot of packages in Emacs to ease transitioning from vi(m), as you can have Evil mode and be operating almost like in vi(m) but with all emacs tools at hand. Hope you give it a chance, its a great editor 😄
