I have been participating in this thread/group a bit lately but haven't introduced myself and I thought I would just post something because I am more into clojure every day. Yesterday I had a job interview that has me feeling all sorts of ways and it is for a job involving C but I used clojure during it and it was the height of the interview and my programming experience so far. I am excited to do more in it and I love talking about it and anything tangential a lot. Please feel free to reach out over here or the discord if you wanna chat (it doesn't have to be about code - mostly I think programmers are just cool and interesting and I would talk about anything really) also I am interested in talking to other beginners about your experiences and thoughts about clojure and see where you are at in your journey.

Hey hey! My name is Richard from the Netherlands. Have been using Clojure since the very beginning, first as a hobby (used c++, and common lisp professionally) but already been using it professionally for 13 years or more now. Love the elegance, flexibility and simplicity of it. Love it that I don't need to bend my thinking to match the language but can make it match my thinking. In all this time though I never joined part of its community though, haven't even visited a Clojure congress. Joining here is the first step to change that. Looking forward seeing all the interesting things the fellow Clojurians are up tot here!
