Hello everyone. I'm a Canadian who somehow found Clojure through core.logic and Rich Hickey's youtube videos. (Had to buy The Reasoned Schemer as well). Self-taught but heavy through the Linux pipe. Preferred editor is Emacs. Started serious work programming tasks with Python (Dave Beazley's Python Generators and Concurreny presentations got me hooked so Clojure's handling of async hit just the right spot ). Bringing clojure to my work where I can, and playing with it where others might not dare. Do wish I was better with ClojureScript, but it's not my priority. Still using leiningen as I still haven't had a chance to work my head around the newer tool chains (love the uberjar). Probably stayed like this I had no background with Java so the classpath-ing and package management still give me pain. Looking forward to chatting with other Clojurians about how exceedingly productive we feel while using this language.
