Hello everyone. I'm Hendrik from Germany. After first hearing of Clojure, I could not stop reading more about it and learning it. Its simplicity and FP concept totally got me. It makes the disadvantages of OOP so clear, that I must fell ashamed that I didn't see those before by myself. I can't wait to start my first project with a Clojure(script) stack. Unfortunately, in Germany, there is little use of Clojure and jobs are rare. Anyway, I'm happy, that I discovered and learned Clojure. And I'm glad to be part of this community full of brilliant and nice people.
I don't know how Clojure ranks in percentage of available jobs, but there always seem to be people hiring when I've been along to :https://clojured.de/ in Berlin. Perhaps if you follow that conference (or join the #clojured channel) then you might see some opportunities?
Hello Hendrik, welcome to Clojure! I am in Germany/Switzerland. And true, I would be happy to see more Clojure used, too.
