Hi, I'm Samad. I am a 1st year MS student studying computer science with a focus on robotics. Professionally, I've been working as a SWE for about 2ish years. At work, I use Java and I heard a lot of good things about Clojure and figured it would be a nice language to pick up since it works on JVM. Aside from using Java at work, I like to use Python a lot (pretty much my favorite language) but also use C++. I want to try Clojure to see if it would be a good fit for robotics-stuff such as filtering, perception, etc. I also would like to try building data dashboards and such. I am also learning Rust as well concurrently, so it will be interesting to see the differences and practicality of using Clojure vs Rust for me. Excited for the journey!
