great demo, alan! i realize it's early days, but i'm excited about the potential of JACL
it's always kind of irked me that clojurescript doesn't really have its own runtime in the browser, i.e. the compiler is just a JVM program that compiles lisp into javascript i guess bootstrap clojurescript might be another story, but i haven't heard anything about bootstrap clojurescript in a long time, seems like the community hasn't really pushed it
it works and i think there are runtime vars now, but it doesn't seem to be the recommended way to develop
