@jumblerg: ahh no, master still has this

flyboarder15:07:51

@micha: is hoplon open to a hoplon.routing ns? I think we can include most of the bidi boilerplate stuff for other users no?

micha15:07:27

@flyboarder: sounds awesome to me

flyboarder15:07:40

cool, PR coming your way!

micha15:07:49

i just mentioned bidi cause i didn't see it in the thread yet

flyboarder15:07:59

it worked out awesome!

flyboarder15:07:18

already used in production ๐Ÿ˜‰

dm315:07:15

maybe better to keep it in a separate project? E.g. hoplon-bidi

flyboarder15:07:10

we could do that also

micha15:07:45

either way sounds cool to me, do you have access to the org and all that?

flyboarder15:07:04

not currently

flyboarder16:07:53

@micha I was going to create a routing repo similar to the ui repo but insufficient permissions ๐Ÿ˜›

micha16:07:12

you think we should make a sort of incubator repo?

micha16:07:37

to collect various features that we may want to add to hoplon

flyboarder16:07:46

yeah that way other routing libs can be explored

micha16:07:48

and to make it easier for people to specify the deps

micha16:07:35

maybe hoplon-lib or something like that?

micha16:07:46

you should definitely have permissions now

flyboarder16:07:40

hahaha thanks, yeah im open to ideas, I like the idea of an incubator repo, maybe hoplon-future?

micha16:07:02

yeah something lke that, names are hard

flyboarder16:07:07

@alandipert: thoughts on naming?

tbrooke16:07:14

@flyboarder: just thinking out loud but hoplon-future sound like this is where hoplon os going - I sort of like the idea of choosing alternative - sort of like metalsmith plugins or something - maybe more like hoplon-libs - or hoplon-hops - not sure what hops means but it sounds good

micha16:07:41

hops reminds me of beer, which is not bad at all

genRaiy16:07:12

and brewing ๐Ÿ™‚

micha16:07:29

"hoptimus prime"

flyboarder16:07:36

I didnt know that existed! so cool!!

micha16:07:42

how did you do it?

flyboarder16:07:20

I was hoping we had a poll plugin installed but I guess not

flyboarder16:07:14

Unless there are objections I think iโ€™ll go with hoplon-brew ???

micha16:07:00

sure go for it

mynomoto16:07:40

fwiw I think routing should be a library concern, I use silk for that usually, it's quite nice.

flyboarder16:07:37

@mynomoto: yeah agreed, but i think we can wrap all the boilerplate, so itโ€™s easy for new users to pickup and go

alandipert16:07:20

@raymcdermott: loved your "join us in the SPA" pun on the podcast  dad

flyboarder16:07:01

@mynomoto: maybe you can include a silk example on the wiki?

mynomoto17:07:00

@flyboarder: I plan to do it but not sure when I will be able to. But it's mostly some code from @juhoteperi that I used as base: https://gist.github.com/Deraen/426285564376266c675b (there are some bugs on it if irc but it's a good starting point.)
