😄 I like to make sure my direction is interesting first. I'm still not sure whether speeding up the compilation by µs is worthwhile when most builds are a couple of seconds. Although maybe it's because of thinking like that!

Unrelated: Just seen the .repl PR, 👀 how can I make this thing real, it's like magic. I was thinking about whether this would be possible the other day, and apparently it is! Looks like something fun to hook up to one of the REBL clones.
