Do I need to know Clojure in order to join gsoc? I'd love to work with clojure as I know Common Lisp and have been thinking about learning Clojure for some time now, but my application wouldn't look all that impressive given that I don't know Clojure at the moment.
@malice Well, I think the most important bit is to find a mentor who is interested in working with you. If there is a mentor who is very positive about working with you, despite your lack of a Clojure background, that makes a huge impact. There are other orgs participating in GSoC, so Clojure isn’t the only option.
