Big shout out to @neumann @magdalena.useglio @filipewvandrade @lorilynjmiller and the rest of the team who produced an incredible Conj this year! Esp. the extra work they did to organize networking and social engagement (Wednesday's round table ice breaker, Thursday's coordinated lunch groups). As I said in a thread elsewhere, the $400 conference ticket, the $650 hotel/parking, and the 20-hour round-trip drive were all worth every cent/minute for the in-person aspect of Conj (I only attended two talks each day -- and look forward to catching the rest when they are eventually released on YT). Thank you for all your hard work!!!
(Meanwhile 99 other people are thinking, The trip was a blast because I got a chance to chat with Sean!)
Hear hear
Thanks also for making the live-stream available, it was so nice to be able to attend virtually!
I’m so happy to read that; thank you so much @seancorfield! We tried to listen to your needs and wishes and create activities that align with them, which is why it’s so important for you to participate in the surveys (that’s ultimately what they’re for). We hope to see you again next year and to keep growing this amazing, collaborative community. (You’re already helping us so much by spreading the word, so even more newcomers can experience the Conj next time!)
@seancorfield Thank you so much! I'm glad you were there! I really appreciate your personal support for the Clojure tooling efforts I'm organizing and how you give so much to the Clojure community.
