I'm grateful to @russ767 for writing https://pragprog.com/titles/roclojure/getting-clojure/. The book has helped me get a overview of the language and see details that I might not have picked up just by looking at the documentation šŸ“–

Me three - I only realised after finishing it that Russ had also written Eloquent Ruby - my favourite ruby book during an earlier fling with that language. Oh, are we allowed to mention former girlfriends on the Clojurians slack?

Oh, are we allowed to mention former girlfriends on the Clojurians slack? Well given that I’m currently in the middle of updating Eloquent Ruby for a second edition, yes. šŸ˜„

Me four šŸ˜„ I decided to learn some Clojure after watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0if71HOyVjY, had a bit of trouble on my first serious interaction with a functional language, then started reading Getting Clojure and everything was very smooth after. Thank you!
