In 2019 I made the decision to travel from Oslo to Helsinki for ClojureTRE—my first ever physical Clojure event. During that day, @daslu and @jackrusher decided to say hi to me. I think they may have recognised me from my photo on Clojureverse. At that time, I wasn’t too confident in my Clojure programming skills, and not too confident in this “community thing”. I’m grateful that the Clojure community is filled with people who not only know their craft, but also say hi to newcomers. And I’m grateful to #C059F2KE7PD for ClojureTRE 2019.

I am grateful for the opportunity to meet you there, and for the other couple of lucky opportunities. These were good conversations that affected me a lot.
