I see that there is now Java 11 version available of GraalVM CE! That's very nice news. Has someone tried to see if it's possible to use https://github.com/cljfx/cljfx and use native-image?
@victorbjelkholm429 I haven't. But feel free to experiment and document your findings at https://github.com/lread/clj-graal-docs
Just migrated setup-graalvm github action to use new repository and version modifier - https://github.com/DeLaGuardo/setup-graalvm
@delaguardo Is there a project that uses this?
in my company we are using it in production. but our projects are in private repos
Might also be nice to add it here: https://github.com/lread/clj-graal-docs/blob/master/doc/external-resources.md
good point, I have private project where I’m testing new versions. Will clean it up a bit and open as a reference. Thanks for the suggestion!
@U04V15CAJ, I use Parallels Desktop. It is not free but I don't experience problems with it.
It's only 49 dollars if I upgrade to a personal non-business edition. I guess that's fine for open source?
Lessee... I am paying 70.56 $CAD/year for "Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition Upgrade". (I guess I had a previous license that I upgraded). I went for a subscription because I thought it best to keep up to date and I have an interest in supporting a program that works.
Vmware similar good. On Linux/Windows maybe the best. Fusion Pro on Mac good, but no real cli interface (automatic creation), just with vagrant (a plugin)
I tried it when playing with GitHub Actions, very handy, thanks @delaguardo
btw, someone has been assigned to: https://github.com/oracle/graal/issues/1876 and a report that similar phenomena occurs in windows 7
