Got my ticket! @skuro In the evening are we going to hang out in Weesp? I ask in order to search for a place to stay in the right city.
I'll probably staying till the last train home (assuming I'm not on my own by that time of course)
@mardukbp we will facilitate some activities after the conference program ends, so while not really officially part of the conference you can expect drinks and dinner will happen in Weesp. Note that Amsterdam is ~10m away with the train and the conference venue about 5m walking distance from the train station
As I come from Stuttgart, I will stay at least from Friday to Sunday. Maybe I stay a few days longer to visit Amsterdam.
Got my ticket too!
@b.brodie Quantum computing is different from classical computing, but not incomprehensible, especially if you look at it from an algorithmic perspective. Don't start with how it works but with what it can do. That's at least my experience.
This topic deserves its own thread, or even a channel?

Got my ticket!
same here!
amazing, I'll be coming! last one was great!
π got mine too!
I got one for you too @post972
Thanks @b.brodie π
Registered!
man, I am already planning to be vaguely in the area like a week before that
do you mean, you will still be there, or on the way back?
I was planning to leave about a week prior, not sure I can stick around for a whole additional week but I'll think about it :)
What if you had to give a keynote... and some remote working from Amsterdam? wink wink
ping me and I can look at it. I have 2 kids graduating from college around then too, so things might be complicated for other reasons
ok, I'm not organizing this thing but I'm sure @skuro is reading along
I've gotten my ticket π. I'll also be submitting a talk proposal when the CfP is open.
I am thinking about submitting a talk as well. been playing a lot of Rama latrely
If people are interested, Iβll also want to submit a talk about shipclojure and how I gradually made the entire stack pure & data driven
Exciting news!
Maybe I submit a talk about QClojure. I'm doing also talks about it at the Macroexpand.
