Tomorrow evening Tonight (August 12th) at 8 pm Eastern, the second #clojure-ohio meetup will happen on Zoom. Like last month, it'll be an informal "get to know each meetup" but I'm going to run it as a regular 2nd-Tuesday-of-the-month event. Join #clojure-ohio if you live/work in Ohio or are Ohio-adjacent 🙂 The Zoom link will be posted in that Slack channel about 30 minutes before we start.
Re clojure-provo, yeah, a portion of us finished our schooling there a few years back and have moved to other parts of the state/country, myself included. I still remember the presentation you gave to that group though Sean. Last I heard, WorldsEndless was still on campus and may have a new group of student clojure developers working on projects with him.
Do we have any other Clojure state groups? Would love a #clojure-colorado
There used to be a #clojure-provo online group but it went inactive. #clojure-losangeles is regularly active -- monthly walkthroughs of various projects. #clojure-bay-area has gone quiet. There's #clojure-austin but I've never checked that out, and #clojure-seattle also #clojure-boston -- so, mostly "city"-based rather than states.
Looks like Austin is regularly busy too.
#clojure-denver is a thing, which is perfect if active!
#nyc is also sparse (and still quite a drive), need that clojurian registry someone mentioned a few weeks ago <3
@seancorfield looks like we're getting a Clojure Denver irl meetup going now, thanks so much!
Excellent! Sorry I missed that channel in my list. @sludwig.dev Man, that ought to be renamed #clojure-nyc so it is easier to find! 🙂
Any interest in #clojure-houston. I know a group was active awhile ago (I even presented 🙂 ), but I’ve lost track.
The Zoom link has been posted in #clojure-ohio -- see y'all in 15-30 mins! 🙂
