Nubank(https://nu.bank) and Cognitect are organising the first Clojure South event ever, here in São Paulo :flag-br:, later this year. We would like to invite you to speak at Clojure South. The event will take place on August 31th and September 1st. The event will have around 500 attendees, making it one of the biggest Clojure events in the world (probably the biggest one). 🙂 We will have Stuart Halloway and David Chelimsky presenting and other big names to be confirmed. 8Ho @U05509S91, our top priority is to make the conference accessible to everyone by keeping the ticket’s price as low as possible. But our next priority is to cover our speakers’ expenses as much as possible. For the reason listed above, we’re never able to guaranty any refund in advance. If your proposal gets accepted, you’ll be asked for the kind and amount of assistance you need (for travel, accommodation or both). If your company is able and willing to cover your expenses, it would also help us a lot. In the unhappy case where our budget allows us to cover only a percentage of the total we’re asked for, we’ll refund every speaker up to that percentage of their request.
