Just catching up. @alexmiller I will ping you at some point. At this point I’m 95% sure I’ll be holding a remote Clojure conference in February.

@roberto: noted. Thanks for the insight into attending a remote conf.

Sounds awesome. I don't know anything about remote confs!

avery00:08:51

@ivanreese: Heh, I’ve actually been chatting with CMW about the conf 😉

spiralganglion01:08:49

@sashton: That's a pretty cool idea.

spiralganglion01:08:44

That could be a good way to get people to join a local meetup group where they previously might not have, or perhaps, get someone to start one in a location that didn't previously have one. These are exactly the sort of network effects I was curious about, with respect to a remote conf.

sashton01:08:43

If it drew in a larger crowd than a regular meetup, it would be like a mini-conf in each location

@avey_q: I am interested in a remote conf, too!

anthonyrrubin04:08:51

@avey_q: I am interested as well.

mpenet07:08:26

that's a great idea

claudio07:08:00

Next tuesday (august 18) in Barcelona we'll try to implement a feature together using mob programming http://www.meetup.com/ClojureBCN/events/224445122/

http://www.codemesh.io has some amazing speakers (many FP-related)

jeffh-fp16:08:53

not sure of any specific Clojure content though
