hello from germany
I’m not sure I understand why you all keep saying hello/morning every day, it’s not like the chat room is a place where you’re all meeting or anything :S
socksy: dunno. I only came back as I saw there were msgs here so I know that someone doesn't just have this room buried in their notifications
if the only notifications coming from this channel is “morning” and “hello”, I think I shall soon leave 😉
One point is to create a group of european clojurians. The greetings show the synchronization of the time schedule...

last try
@slackbot entertain me
@socksy: better?
#C0522EZ9N generally has a fair amount of chat, but I'd be happy to chat here too as there are so many people in <insert other European countries here>.
AFAIK there are upcoming clojurebridge events being planned for Glasgow and London. Any others coming up?
This is also probably a good place to give advance notice of events so that anyone travelling can drop in
we have our calendar at http://londonclojurians.org
london has such a great community. In the Ulm area are maybe two developers. At least two I know of.
London has the advantage of having ALL THE PEOPLE (or at least it feels that way on the tube some times)
clojure-uk has plenty of people spread in 1s and 2s across the UK, so someone like agile_geek will feel your pain ordnungswidrig
we need a map of clojure!
there was talk at the last #C075TNSSC of doing a NoLoCloDoJo on google hangouts and I think there have been 1 or 2 meetings
doing remote clojure dojos could be fun. Organise the event in slack. Split into teams using google hangouts or other then show and tell in a big hangout again
Sounds fun.
there might be better ways of group programming than hangouts (not being able to type into the same editor is the real pain there)
If we can agree on a language in Europe. The EC/EU/EUP translates to all 18+ languages, right?
to translate?
at least you make it at least into one presentation at euroclojure
Is there a map tool where people can register with, say, twitter handle and location? Maybe google forms to map?

what about the Munich people?
@otfrom: ClojureBridge events also coming to Manchester and Bristol in the autumn. Plus hopefully people from a few more European cities will organise - spoke to keen folks from Munich, Zurich, Geneva and Paris, amongst others
ali_king: do you know whom you’ve speaken to for Munich?
ordnungswidrig: can't remember the guy's name, I'm afraid. If you're also interested, post about it on local clj groups & hopefully there will be a few others who want to make it happen :)
ali_ling: dont’ worry I think I will no miss it.
ali_king: sounds like you are taking over the world. I for one look forward to my new Clojurebridge Rulers. 😄
