Awesome! Best wishes with the project. Out of curiosity, did you feel there were shortcomings with lsp and nrepl alike when it comes to protocols?

ECA is inspired by LSP and MCP protocols, I feel like they are easier to extend and easy to understand compared with nrepl, nrepl doesn't support notifications / server requests (at least in a easy way to implement)

I see! What about lsp itself?

Not sure it's a shortcoming, but the pace to extend the protocol adding more features like chat (for AI), need to each server implement their custom features
