Hello, I am trying to specify env variables from a file in project directory for development purposes. I'd hate to add those using setenv which get rest when re-opening emacs. I am used to either a .env file or direnv. there is a library to read from .env but I'd rather using aero, how do you manage env vars when dev? sorry if this is the wrong channel but this seems like a topic spanning over multiple channels

there's https://github.com/wbolster/emacs-direnv but I haven't tried it

I'm worried that it might slow things down to invoke direnv, but haven't checked

I use this and don’t notice any slowness because of it. It works very well
