I just published my dotemacs, which I am sure has rough edges and cruft that I don't see. Critique is welcome! https://github.com/adityaathalye/dotemacs

critique to an emacs config is like telling somebody how to spell their name 😄

really nice. I’ve stolen the golden-ratio package. Never heard about it. You seem to use lots of :blackout Have you tried mood-line package? It’s just really minimalistic mode line which doesn’t use minor-mode-alist in its mode-line-format so the list of minor modes is hidden and you don’t need to mark each one of them with :blackout. The package of course includes more nice stuff.

mood-line sounds vaguely familiar---I feel like... Doom's source? I'll take a look at it. Thank's for the tip! I used :blackout like a hammer, so I likely overdid it.

And golden-ratio is one of those tiny but oh so very satisfying quality of life things. I didn't know I need it until I saw it in action in my friend's Emacs, at work.
