‘toggle-truncate-lines‘ not doing it for you @theeternalpulse?

theeternalpulse16:05:10

I actually haven't set up that hook yet, I'll try that

andrea.crotti12:05:03

something weird started happening with smartparens a couple of weeks ago, typing " I get \"\"

andrea.crotti12:05:24

I managed somehow to fix it, but at the next Emacs restart it started happening again

andrea.crotti12:05:34

both with strict and non strict mode

andrea.crotti12:05:41

anyone else noticed something similar?

practicalli-johnny12:05:18

Yes, I think I did see this a couple of times, but I think it only happens on a certain action, which I dont do very often. If it happens again I'll take note of what I did.

andrea.crotti15:05:15

this is very weird, somehow it was related with ein (the Emacs Ipython Notebook library)

andrea.crotti15:05:33

which was not required by anything but there was a function call to it that was failing

andrea.crotti15:05:44

strange, since they should not really be related packages

theeternalpulse16:05:57

@andrea.crotti have you looked into electric pairs to see if disabling that works, that is if it is enabled

andrea.crotti16:05:37

@theeternalpulse uhm it was disabled already

andrea.crotti16:05:49

it's quite strange since it worked perfectly well for quite a long time
