woah! I have just tried xwidget-webkit-browse-url on github 😱 🙀

Care to share a screenshot? I tried it myself but Your Emacs was not compiled with xwidgets support and I don't see a relevant option to the macOS homebrew package.

will do, I am on the 25.2 snapshot of the official ppa

jeff.terrell16:07:57

Thanks! Very interesting…

dpsutton15:07:23

i need to recompile with that option

jeff.terrell16:07:48

I'm reminded of that joke about how emacs is not a text editor but an operating system that has a text editor built-in… simple_smile

dpsutton16:07:52

i like the version: emacs is a good OS it just needs a decent text editor

jeff.terrell16:07:50

Ah yeah, maybe that's how I first heard it. Although IMO it has a decent text editor with evil-mode.

@richiardiandrea : what are neat ways you can script the xwidget webkit using elisp ?

richiardiandrea16:07:15

uhm don't know yet, for sure many 😄
