rquisenb17:05:41

might not be abel to help

rquisenb17:05:42

cause im on spacemacs

rquisenb17:05:44

but i opened it today

rquisenb17:05:48

and the window is EXTREMELY tiny

rquisenb17:05:50

cant read anything

rquisenb17:05:59

C-0 and C-x

rquisenb17:05:01

wont do anyhting

dpsutton17:05:08

the window is normal sized but the text is tiny?

rquisenb17:05:17

window size is

dpsutton17:05:25

can you maximize it?

rquisenb17:05:33

can maximize

rquisenb17:05:37

but text does nothing

mgrbyte17:05:39

does: M-x maximize-window work?

dpsutton17:05:01

so when the window is maximized what does the text look like?

mgrbyte17:05:07

might need to do the spacmacs eqiv of M-x

dpsutton17:05:27

when the window is maximized the text disappears?

dpsutton17:05:33

and no commands work?

rquisenb17:05:35

now if id elete .spacemacs

rquisenb17:05:37

and use root emacs

rquisenb17:05:38

it works fine

dpsutton17:05:41

can you visit the *Messages* buffer

rquisenb17:05:05

literally cannot do

dpsutton17:05:23

well it sounds like your spacemacs directory is borked

rquisenb17:05:10

ive tried deleting

rquisenb17:05:16

and recloning

dpsutton17:05:43

you're cloning it?

dpsutton17:05:53

try git checkout HEAD~25

dpsutton17:05:58

wait, cloning or downloading

dpsutton17:05:02

do you have the repo?

dpsutton17:05:13

roll it back and then see if its just broken right now

dpsutton17:05:50

ok. yeah just checkout a previous commit to see if spacemacs is in a broken state

rquisenb17:05:59

i opened spacemacs yesterday

rquisenb17:05:00

it was fine

rquisenb17:05:02

didnt reclone or anything

dpsutton17:05:14

have you tried it?

rquisenb18:05:46

im going to

rquisenb18:05:50

bang my head on many walls

rquisenb18:05:44

wonder if i have to reinstall

ag18:05:51

@rquisenb try backing up .cache and elpa and restarting Emacs. sometimes the problem is upstream

ag18:05:59

package is broken or something
