Hi all! We're planning a defn episode where we interview Heart of Clojure attendees... all of you! Here's the deal: we drop some prompts here, you record a 30-60 second clip of yourself answering the question, send us a link to the audio file (DMs here or on Clojururians Slack or the #defnpodcast channel or whatevs), and then we edit Ray and myself in asking the questions as if it was live on air! Here are the prompts: • What did Heart of Clojure leave in your heart? 💜 • What was your favourite part of the conference and why? 😀 • What expectations did you have for the conference before arriving, and how did your experience differ from those expectations? 🤔 • Which talk(s) blew your mind and why? 🤯 • Tell me about an activity or workshop that you really enjoyed. What made it special? 🌠 • What was one unexpectedly awesome thing that happened at the conference? 😲 • What was the most important thing you're taking away from the conference? 🥇 • If you gave a talk or held a workshop or activity, what was the experience like for you? 🤿 • Who was the coolest person you met at the conference and why? (Other than the defn crew, of course, because otherwise everyone would have the same answer!) 😎 • Did you attend the live defn show? If so, say something nice about it! Now say something mean just to keep us humble. 😇👿 • Who do you think has the better Emacs config, Vijay or Josh? Can we all agree that Ray only uses Cursive because he's afraid of the raw power of Emacs? 😱 • Ask yourself any question you want and then answer it as well! 🤓 Please share far and wide!
Awesome idea looking forward to the episode. My bad i wasn't there 😞 i promise to get to the next one.
We also recorded a live episode at the conference, so look for that one to drop soon! 🎧
you can still answer a subset of the questions 😉
@raymcdermott are there any screenshots of vijay and josh's emacs config otherwise i can't answere that 😄 and i guess that question is quite important 😄. and yes i guess ray is affraid of the raw power of emacs or maybe he is afraid of breaking his fingers while floating with the fingers across the keyboard
Get @mathaeus.peter.sander an emacs medal!
@mathaeus.peter.sander You just have to imagine our configs based on our personalities. 😉
set the channel topic: #1 vegetarian Clojure podcast
