Out of historical curiosity. Is anyone aware of whether Datomic pull influenced GraphQL, or the other way around? Or is there a "common ancestor" both credit as inspiration?

I think it's a fairly common pattern. SQL uses select for example. Interesting thought though

Datomic was released in 2012 GraphQL was released in 2015 select is more like datomic :find (P)SQL nowdays has some pull-like features the idea of have two reading interfaces, the pull and the :find, in a single database is pretty original, AFIK
