Is it possible to go from a datomic cloud split stack to a solo stack? We would want to upgrade in the future, but have financial obstacles at the moment.
Hadil, Solo and Prod are both split stacks. The split is in "Compute" and "Storage" stacks. I believe you are talking about the master template you get from Marketplace. I recommend moving directly to split solo stack or skipping the master template altogether by subscribing and launching your stacks. You can upgrade from a SOLO Split stack to a production stack easily by upgrading your compute. We do not however recommend downgrading from Production to Solo without talking to us first in support. Downgrading from prod to solo is not currently supported.
If you have specific questions about this shoot me an e-mail at <mailto:[email protected]|[email protected]> and we can have a quick call to discuss or I can log a support case to track your specific needs 🙂
