Is it possible to start up an instance of datomic free from inside an application? Ie, I don't spin one up with the provided scripts, but do it from inside the application

@emil0r I am not sure I understood you question but I think you do need to run datomic as a service separately, though you could probably write a script to automate that process somehow.

I think I remember this being discussed here before, but does anyone else have trouble with the Datomic Cloud SOCKS proxy timing out or otherwise acting unreliably in the face of frequent REPL reloads? I regularly have to restart the proxy process in order to reconnect to Cloud.
