@qqq it seems like Aurora could work too, since Datomic also works with JDBC compatible SQL databases as a storage backend. Aurora even has a Postgres-compatible version in beta, which should work with the driver that ships with Datomic.

That said, my understanding is Datomic essentially treats all storage backends as block key value stores, so dynamo seems somewhat better aligned from a design standpoint, albeit more expensive. Let me know if you wind up trying with Aurora, curious to hear how it goes & to learn about performance characteristics.

The AWS offering is still a template so I think the is opportunities to customise this to include peers.
