one point me and @wilkerlucio were discussing about this is index lookup. if you keep the keyword values in AVET, then lookups might match VAET lookups (which take place for refs when you use db/ident), so there's only this caveat. of course, never benchmarked anything of it so i wouldn't be surprised to see my assumptions wrong.
