Quick update: I sorted out the issue that popped up during my Scicloj talk on Oz a couple weeks ago, and have released the fix (together with updated vega/vega-lite deps) as [metasoarous/oz "1.6.0-alpha5"]. Please see https://github.com/metasoarous/oz for more info.
