I wish to tell a bit about something which is probably not so visible to most people here. The https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/real-world-data/ group is a space where Clojurians share their problems and experiences at work. The scope is data & science, but the practices we discuss are diverse. In our first 10 meetings, we talked about big data, data processing, databases, webdev, visualization, probability, statistics, bioinformatics, geospatial analysis, high-performance numerics, training Clojure teams, and more. It is a safe space where not everything is recorded, and the recorded part is often shared only internally in the group. I think it is really different from most study groups we've had. We got to hear inspiring stories of detailed work experiences. If anybody is interested in joining, please reach out.
Hi. We are organizing a meetup where @smith.adriane will discuss some of the current projects bridging Clojure to native computing libraries such as webgpu and ggml. If anybody wishes to participate, please mark your availability in the poll: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/eE6NKQWa/vote
