hello #data-science, noob here. So I am playing with market trade data, what are some clojure resources/libs/tools I should be aware of? (as in panda for python?!...) I've messed a little with incanter before, but I hear it's not the goto lib anymore...
There is a plan to fill this site with tutorials, use-cases. And of course maintain it.
I know there was an online meeting this morning which I was unable to attend due to a conflict.
We moved most discussions to zulip and there are subgroups connected to the topic. Just call Alan or Daniel there and they guide you.
At the data science stream in Zulip there will be many answers on how to get involved 🙂. https://clojurians.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/151924-data-science @zane, do you have something in mind? There are some task groups working on tutorials, website, etc. What would interest you to be involved in?
@daslu It'd be great to have Metaprob added to the probabilistic programming section of the site!
@zane Thanks! We'll add it. I'm so curious about Metaprob BTW.
Great to hear that!
Here's an example of using it to implement custom spelling correction. https://spiffy-yak.surge.sh/
And here's the curve fitting demo from our 2018 Clojure/conj talk. https://metaprob-mcmc-demo.surge.sh/
We're very interested in applications like these of what we've been calling "probabilistic scripting".
