Hello everyone, I just found out about this channel. I recently started learning clojure and I am also interested in having a good ecosystem for clojure. Now that I am learning clojure I love programming more than I used to.
I have spent a considerable amount of time working with Big Data infrastructure like Spark with Scala. I am looking into a project that runs on top of the hadoop ecosystem called Cascalog which does data processing using clojure. I would like to see more ML algorithms implemented in Clojure. I am willing to work with people who are interested in data science and start implementing a strong ecosystem in clojure. If anyone knows about a project that I can join, let me know. Thanks.
@joelkuiper: Have you looked at anglican
for mcmc? http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~fwood/anglican/
@carloscarrasco: I'm not sure, but I think there are others who might want to see neanderthal become a backend to the core.matrix api??
